Born and raised in a small rural town in northern Illinois, MacKenzie wanted to become a PT ever since a sports injury in high school.

After graduating from Illinois College in 2019 with a bachelors in Psychology and minor in Biology, MacKenzie pursued her passions at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis where she obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022. Combining her passion for physical therapy with her love of children, MacKenzie accepted a position at Children's 1st Rehabilitation Center in 2022 launching her career. Walking alongside patients and parents, MacKenzie loves to celebrate any and all accomplishments her patients make. MacKenzie enjoys snuggles with her fat cat, Pudge, and her loving dog, Jayla. Living in Fayetteville, MacKenzie and her husband look forward to growing their family. MacKenzie's Office Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm Friday, 8:00am to 12:00pm noon

Rearing your children with affection and warmth is a form of activism. Honoring your word impeccably is a way to raise your voice. Performing your job with excellence - with your chin high and your standards higher - is as powerful as any protest march. Sowing into the lives of young people is a worthy crusade.
